TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

All guarantees shall start from the date of delivery. All Collingwood Sofas furniture is guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects, subject to reasonable wear and tear in a normal domestic environment.

 

  • Upholstery

 

All frames are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 10 years.

Springs carry a 5 year guarantee.

     

  • Cushion Interiors

 

Seat and Back cushions interiors are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for:

Fibre  - 1 Year        Foam - 1 year

 

  • Fabrics

 

Collingwood Sofas and the fabric manufacturers and suppliers guarantee the fabrics for 1 year. Whilst all our fabrics are manufactured to the highest  possible standard  and only best dye stuffs are used, sunlight will fade most fabrics and leathers so precautions should always be taken to protect all textiles from exposure to direct  sunlight/heat.

 

Customers own fabric must meet the relevant cigarette or match test certificate to meet requirements of BS2543.

 

  • Off the Floor / Ex –Display Products

 

All products bought off the floor are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for one year.

 

  • Other information

 

When furniture is ordered at different times Collingwood Sofas cannot guarantee a to clour match fabrics or other materials. Normal settling of foam and fibre should be expected and is a characteristic of all cushions. Regular plumping and turning of cushions is essential.

 

All upholstery supplied by Collingwood Sofas comply to the Furniture & Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regs 1988 ( as amended in 1989 & 1993.

 

All furniture sizes quoted in our literature is approximate and intended for guidance only.

 

  • Cancellation/Amendment of Order

 

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that all details on the order form are correct. In the event of a customer cancelling or amending an order without valid reason they will be liable to pay any consequential loss to Collingwood sofas.

 

  • Deliveries

 

Delivery forecasts are approximate and Collingwood Sofas cannot be held liable for costs incurred by late delivery.

 

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that it is practical to complete the delivery and if necessary bear any costs for the removal of doors, banisters , windows etc to accommodate the furniture. Collingwood Sofas reserve the right to abort a delivery attempt if the circumstances are deemed dangerous to the driver or customer.

 

When your furniture is delivered please inspect it closely for damage or defects. Make sure the delivery person is informed of any problems immediately.

 

  • Payment

 

All orders require a minimum 30% deposit to be paid for at the time of placing the order. The outstanding balance on any order is due prior to delivery. Customers paying by credit/debit card, cheque or cash  will be reminded to pay their outstanding balance when the delivery is booked in.

 

Collingwood Sofa’s will not undertake the delivery while the balance remains outstanding.

 

  • Conditions of Sale
